Back in February, Muhammad entered a Black Hero Writing Contest sponsored by Building Better Men, a non profit organization based in Southfield MI. The contest was split by two age levels, 5th through 8th grade and High School. Each age level had three awards with $500 for winning 1st Prize. The prize money was donated by a group of Black Engineers with Stellantis Corporation.
Muhammad won 1st Prize for his age group and this past weekend received his winnings.
