EMCEEs and Game Announcers Needed this Weekend

Hello, Everyone!
My name is Kidada Simmons, and I am the coach of the McU-Bots and the Event Coordinator for the Dearborn FTC Spring Event.  As you may already know, Dearborn Public Schools is hosting our first FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) middle school robotics competition on Saturday, May 13th at McCollough Unis.
We are seeking TWO HIGHLY ENERGETIC STAFF MEMBERS, STUDENTS, or COMMUNITY MEMBERS with EXCELLENT PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS to serve as an EMCEE and a GAME ANNOUNCER from 9:30-6:00. These roles are critical to the success of our event. Currently, no one has volunteered for these two roles. View a description of the roles on p.10 by clicking on the link below:
We will be hosting twenty-five robotics teams from around the state. We hope to inspire students in (and around) Dearborn to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers in the future.
Please go to www.mcubots.us to learn more about our event.  Volunteers can register at www.mcubots.us/volunteers
Please share this email with your staff, students, family, and community members.  Volunteers are provided food and refreshments all day. Feel free to email me at simmonk@dearbornschools.org or leave me a voicemail at (313) 827-1700.
Thank you!
